Laura Rachel Jacobson was born on July 7, 2003 in Livingston, New Jersey. She currently resides in Warren, New Jersey and attends Watchung Hills Regional High School

Laura was a member of the US Figure Skating National Team in 2018 and represented the US in Belgium and the Netherlands. Laura holds two Eastern Sectional Championship Titles and has been on the podium at 3 Regional Championships and won the gold for the 2016-2017 season. She is a two-time National Competitor and was the Pewter medalist at the US National Championships for the 2018-2019 season. Laura has also skated in many charity events and always tries to give back when she can.

 

Laura Jacobson has been skating since she was 5 years old. She currently trains at the Skating Club of Boston with Olga Ganicheva and Aleksey Letov and is a current member for the 2020-2021 season. Laura Jacobson is also an Associate Member of the Skating Club of New York and has been a member since she was 8 years old.

 

Laura began her training at Bridgewater Sports Arena at the age of 5. Soon she moved to Ice House for 7 years and then moved to Colorado Springs for a year and a half. In the past, Laura Jacobson has also made her home Boston, Massachusetts so she could continue training at an elite level while being closer to her family in New Jersey.

Laura is from Warren, New Jersey and loves to spend time with her twin sisters, Ella and Lexi. In her spare time, she also enjoys singing and acting. Her other hobbies include reading, choreography, dancing, and performing.

Laura Jacobson aspires to be a national coach and choreographer. Despite her rigorous schedule, Laura prioritizes her education and maintains a strong 3.91 GPA. She attended Laurel Springs Academy from 3rd grade to 11th grade and is currently completing her senior year at Watchung Hills.

Laura is also committed to contributing positively to her community. Every Sunday, Laura teaches special needs skaters so they can also enjoy the sport she knows and loves. Additionally, Laura is the secretary of the Steinberg Family Charitable fund where she coordinates meetings, takes highly detailed minutes, and communicates effectively to ensure the charity succeeds.
